Kalau Hari Ini Aku Berhenti

"Kapan kamu nulis blog lagi?"

Suatu hari sahabatku di dalam telp bertanya kepadaku, and today I want to write again, not because this is the perfect time.

Since I deactivated my Instagram, I also didn't really connect with external people and things, kecuali itu hal yang masuk ke dalam prioritas dan targetku. I shifted focus and shifted energy. Beberapa waktu lalu di Public Speaking Class, yang di mana aku sharing soal Storytelling juga, I know kelas ini invited me salah satunya karena aku aktif di sosial media dan punya komunitas. But at that time I said, I'm an ex-content creator, but I still show up and discuss with the audience.

I also said to my team in my community, kalau aku juga mengubah haluanku sekarang. To be a content creator, I think it's not my calling. I want to focus on building something, and this is what I want to leave one day if I'm not staying longer living in this world.

I still choose to write. I think writing is part of something I love, even though one day one of my friends said, "Kamu kuat banget kalau ngomong langsung dibanding nulis". I mean, it's true, in case maybe I'm also more powerful if I directly talk about something, because for me sometimes writing is so challenging, you know, you can also build a connection, connect with that emotion, and also feel like you're talking together through writing. And another friend said. My writing feels so peaceful, like going to the forest, and some friends said they also find inspiring stories.

My blog has a small audience. I know it means I'm writing for some people, for me, and for the future I don't know it will be. Building something is not easy either. But someone with the dreams will always find the other dreamers.

I choose to not stop, and I won't stop even if it's in the middle of a not ideal and perfect time. Because I believe we can always choose the seed, what we want to plant today, we're not focusing on the trees but on being mindful about our actions today and our decisions. Karena pada akhirnya semua yang kita tanam ga akan pernah sia-sia.

I'm always grateful. 5 tahun yang lalu membangun komunitas BaekBarengan, in our teams we have the strong connection and friendship. I never expected kalau hubungan ini benar-benar terjaga diluar konteks di komunitas, waktu tim ke kota tim lain, mereka excited, welcoming the other teams, and made me realize we are not just gathering people, we build that real and genuine connection yang supportive, and some people said tim BaekBarengan have positive vibes and energy.

And I believe if we build something, we're not only building, we can make something more than just the money or the business, we can also be impactful.

That's why I believe every role in our lives has a big chance to make something great. You can be a doctor, you can be a content creator, you can be an entrepreneur, you can be a policymaker, you can be someone in your unique way, and the best way that you can.

You don't have to feel small if you start from the beginning.

You don't have to feel discouraged when doing something, and today people don't know, don't understand, and don't care about it.

Just do it and show up every day, constantly, at least for yourself.

Find our purpose, find our calling.

We're living in here for a reason. Nothing is coincidence, it's always by design.
